In short
Lotte Global Logistics has been selected for a national project under Korea's 2026 robot industry technology development program, led by KEIT, to develop domestic physical-AI-based humanoid robots for logistics sites over five years through March 2031. Working with Yujin Robot, CISO, KETI and Lotte Himart, the company will pilot six logistics center processes — including picking, packing, inspection and safety patrol — at centers in Jincheon, Yangsan and Icheon. The goal is to build a self-reliant Korean physical AI model and to move beyond single repetitive tasks toward continuous, multi-process autonomous logistics work.
