· Source: logisticsbusiness.com
In short
A survey by route optimization specialist Kardinal, conducted from 1 July to 8 September 2026 among developers, CTOs and tech leads, shows that 35% of them already use an AI agent daily for tool design, with Claude Code the most cited tool. The main challenge remains the gap between planned routes and real operating conditions, cited by 56% of respondents, ahead of performance and compute time (47%) and shifting business needs (43%).
