Carrier Logistics, LSP44 announce partnership to automate LTL shipment identification

· Source: freightwaves.com

In short

Carrier Logistics and LSP44 have launched a live, AI-powered API that lets shippers and 3PLs locate less-than-truckload shipments even when the correct PRO tracking number is missing or wrong, by submitting company names, delivery locations, descriptions and approximate dates. The system searches roughly a week of shipment records and uses AI to rank candidate matches, aiming to replace manual customer service research that can cost carriers upward of $10 per shipment. The companies have not disclosed how many carriers or customers will participate in the rollout.
