Tianjin Port's intelligent container terminal has achieved fully automated and unmanned loading/unloading operations using Beidou navigation, 5G communications, and AI-powered transport robots. The port operates the world's first fully internet of things container terminal and has implemented green technologies including wind turbines and photovoltaic panels for 100% green power self-sufficiency. The facility also features a new energy heavy truck charging base with 35 high-power charging piles to support approximately 250 new energy heavy trucks.
