In short

C.H. Robinson has extended its agentic AI programme into global freight forwarding, cutting ocean freight quote times from up to three days to two to three minutes and air cargo quotes from a full day to minutes, generating over 80,000 quotes for more than 3,600 customers. The system uses interconnected specialised AI agents to handle port and terminal fee monitoring, routing suggestions and booking requests, and it has reduced customs brokerage processing time by 23%. Rollout began in 2025 for LCL ocean freight in the US and Canada and is expanding across FCL ocean, air cargo, Mexico, Europe, Latin America, Oceania and, by Q4 2026, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa.
