Hanjin Rolls Out AI Cameras to Flag Safety Risks at Logistics Sites

Hanjin has built an AI Safety Guardian system that analyzes CCTV footage at logistics sites in real time to detect hazards such as unauthorized conveyor-belt crossing, unsafe vehicle movement, illegal parking and missing hard hats. The system is now installed at about 20 small parcel terminals nationwide, where major safety violations have dropped roughly 60%. Hanjin is also deploying AI-based load forecasting at its Daejeon mega-hub terminal, along with a generative AI customer service chatbot.
