In short

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has formalized a strategic partnership with Nvidia to strengthen the supply chain for next-generation AI semiconductor package substrates. Through joint investments the two companies will expand dedicated production lines at Samsung's Sejong and Busan sites and begin multi-year supply from 2026, covering substrates for AI compute chipsets and data center network switches. Nvidia expects the deal to ease advanced substrate bottlenecks, while Samsung Electro-Mechanics aims to grow its high value-added FC-BGA business, with Nvidia-bound volumes projected to more than double annually and to represent a major share of capacity by 2028.
