In short

C.H. Robinson has rolled out new AI agents covering ocean shipping, air freight and customs brokerage as part of its Lean AI expansion in global forwarding. The agents have already produced more than 80,000 price quotes for over 3,600 customers, cutting quote turnaround from days to two to three minutes, and now handle thousands of weekly ocean booking requests plus customs documentation. The 3PL pairs these agents with its Lean operating model and more than 450 in-house engineers, building fit-for-purpose technology embedded in its proprietary systems.
