In short

INFORM announced that Ferrovalle has selected its Syncrotess Optimization Plus software to power a Smart Yard initiative at its Mexico City intermodal hub, one of Latin America's largest inland rail freight operations with around 550,000 TEUs handled in 2025. The solution combines yard, crane, vehicle, and train load optimizers as an additional optimization layer alongside Ferrovalle's existing in-house Terminal Operating System, covering customs-cleared and customs-controlled yards. The contract was signed in early September 2026, with go-live targeted for approximately nine months later in June 2027.
