Hyundai Movex has signed a KRW 72 billion contract with Kumho Tire to supply a logistics automation system for its new Hampyeong plant in South Jeolla Province, to be delivered by October 2028. The integrated solution combines automated storage and retrieval systems, AGVs, conveyors, real-time tracking and AI-based volume forecasting across the full manufacturing process. The deal adds to Hyundai Movex's growing smart logistics order backlog, which now exceeds KRW 400 billion.
